Lacy and Zack started dating during an unconventional time - the summer of 2020, when socializing wasn't so simple. Summers in Austin, Texas are hot and humid, but that didn't stop them from taking hours-long walks filled with nonstop conversation and laughter. Those walks led to more dates which consisted of dinners at home, video gaming, and oh so many movie nights.
They moved on to more ambitious adventures, driving cross-country to hike in Utah and Oregon. The Pacific Northwest called to them and they now reside in Portland, Oregon. Today they continue walking and laughing to dinner or through nature to see waterfalls.
In November of 2023, they took their most memorable hike yet. On Lovers Lane Trail in the Olympic National Forest, Zack proposed to Lacy with his mother's original wedding ring. They're so excited for the next phase of life together and to celebrate their romantic union with their loved ones.
